Songlines

from $260.00

This image captures the magical trails that sea snails had made in the rainbow rock pools at Hastings Point. The image reminds me of the Rainbow Serpent, the great creator from Australian Aboriginal mythology. In the centre of the image you can see the snake’s head, and around its body the trails of the many songlines—the laws and stories that govern our First Nations people.

Sizes Available:

  • 40cm x 60cm $260

  • 60cm x 90cm $495

  • 80cm x 120cm $695

I wish to honour and acknowledge the generations of  the Goodjinburra People, the Tul-gi-gin People and the Moorang-Moobar People of the Bundjalung Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the country I am blessed to live in. I recognise their continued connection to the land and waters of this beautiful place, and acknowledge that they never ceded sovereignty. I respect all Bundjalung Nation Elders and Ancestors, and all First Nations people.
